Templated Calculation

A Templated Calculation in P2 Explorer refers to a calculation that uses certain keywords or functions to allow the same calculation to be used to evaluate different entities.

The following keywords and functions are commonly used to create Templated Calculations:

For example, a calculation for evaluating the maximum pressure of an entity may be the same across all or many entities in the system. Rather than creating a calculation for each entity, you would only have to create one templated calculation that could be reused across multiple entities.

Templated calculations are mostly commonly used for calculating an attribute value on a template.
