P2 Server 4.4.2 and P2 Explorer 4.4.2 have been released. This week we have some updates to the process control shapes in Explorer (Gauge, Level Meter, Pressure Meter, Temperature Meter), plus a new page on how to use the process controls. We’ve also updated the screenshots on all the P2 Server pages.

We have quite a few updates for you this week. For Explorer, we have an update to the Default Value article, and a new article on Point Detail. We’ve also copied over the Troubleshooting issues from the installation guide, and have added How to Select Features in IIS 8.5 to the Resources page.
For Server, we have a new article on Creating a Master List of Units, and have also copied over the Troubleshooting issues from the installation guide. In the new Resources section, we’ve added information on Configuring SSL. We also have help on the new calculations that were added in the last release.

We’ve made some more progress on updating Explorer articles for version 4.4, including: Multi Select List, Pie Chart, and Paging Control. We also have a blog post by Explorer's Lead Developer on how to use the new Table Layout feature (formerly known as dataset repeat), due to be released shortly. We’ve also tweaked the article on How to Write a Paged Query, adding an example of a paged query that uses grouping.
Feature Preview: Explorer Table Layout

Explorer 4.4.1 introduces two controls in Explorer Studio to take your page building to the next level! The Hierarchy Navigator and Table Layout (formerly known as Dataset Repeat) allow Page Designers to create a page control which iterates over the children of a node in the hierarchy. In this post, we will go through a tutorial on how to use these new components.
