This week on the Help Center, we’re beginning a series of articles designed to show how end users can interact with the controls on a page, starting with the ever-popular Pivot Table. Also new for Explorer, an article on how to use the Hierarchy and Tag search on the ribbon. For P2 Server, we’ve added 3 new primer articles explaining how entities, adaptors, and comments work.
This week on the Help Center we’ve added an article on how to create a trend in P2 Explorer. This includes a tutorial on how to add a new trend as well as a step by step walkthrough of the trend’s features. For P2 Server, we’ve added a short article describing the features of the PHD Adaptor.
This week on the Help Center we updated the Text Label tutorial with steps on how to format text labels. We also added new articles on Time Series Tag Fetch and Configuring the PI Adaptor.
This week on the Help Center we added information about the Relational Adaptor, including an updated Creating a Time Series Datasource article, and a new article on Configuring a Datasource Using the Relational Adaptor.
This week on the Help Center sees the addition of release notes for the patch releases of Explorer 4.3.1 and Server 4.3.1.
This week's new articles centered around P2 Server: Troubleshooting Windows Authentication in P2 Security, Hierarchies, and Attributes. A new property was also added to the PI Adaptor: "Fetch Concurrency Limit".
Some users have reported an issue where, when navigating in P2 Explorer, the Windows Authentication prompt keeps appearing. This occurs every time the user navigates to a different page or trend. This post outlines a solution.
