A Related Entry field is a type of field that allows users to link one entry to another entry.
The field can be used to link Case, Log, General, Loss, Availability and Gain entries, and multiple entries and entry types can be linked together.

1. THIS ENTRY | Under THIS ENTRY you will find the entry that is displayed in the dialog, and the forms the entry has been shared to. The icons indicate the form type, and the labels the form name. |

2. RELATED | Under RELATED you will find the list of related entries. These entries can be opened by clicking on the relevant icon, which will open the entry in the entry dialog. If multiple entries belong to the same form you will see a circle ![]()
After opening the related entry, you can return to the previous entry by clicking on its icon in the Related menu. |

Configuration
Related entries are configured in a similar way to other fields, and with Related Entry selected as the Data Type in the field configuration.
Which forms can be related are filtered by form type or specific form names.

The fields can be added to log, case and general entry forms as well as loss, availability and gain forms.
The A-Plus related entry field Related Case, is added to the Loss, Availability and Gain forms by default and is automatically configured by the system.
