Different versions of Shift Log have been designed with different capabilities.
Shift Log (Explorer) is part of the Explorer framework, and is an online version of the application.
The Shift Log (Field Operator) version, has both online and offline capabilities and is a specialized version supporting field data capture.
All configuration of Shift Log happens in Explorer using UWP. This means all the Workbooks, forms and fields that are used in either, or both, versions of Shift Log are configured in Explorer.
The differences between the versions are explained below.
Note: Device refers to use of UWP, phone or tablet. Mobile refers to a disconnected device.
