Links and the Table of Contents

In IFS OI Server, links can be assigned to templates. When a template with assigned links is designated as the primary template for an entity, those assigned links will appear in the entity's Table of Contents in IFS OI Explorer. This article describes how to create links in IFS OI Server Management and group them for display in the IFS OI Explorer ribbon.
Creating Attribute Groups
Comments Button (4.4)

The Comments Button displays a small icon which, when clicked, launches a floating window that allows the user to enter and view comments relating to a specific entity and context. The comments are stored in P2 Server and can be viewed anywhere in Explorer where the same context is used. This article describes how to configure a Comments Button in versions 4.4.0-4.4.6 of P2 Explorer.
Data Table (4.5.2)

The Data Table displays data in tabular format. The page designer can configure many settings in the design, such as display columns, sorting, grouping, filtering, and hiding. Users can also change the tables appearance, dynamically.
This tutorial guides you through how to add a Data Table to a page, and applies to version 4.5.2 and later of P2 Explorer.
Configuring Entities (4.4.0)
Creating Templates and Attributes (4.4.6)
Adding Images (4.4.2)
Updating the Configuration (4.4.5)

There will be occasions where you will want to update the P2 Server database in bulk, rather than manually adding individual items in P2 Server Management. You can do this by exporting the existing data to a specially formatted Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is formatted so that the Data Dictionary has the required information to update your information model directly in the database.
Importing Configuration From Scratch (4.4.5)

When you first install P2 Server, you will most likely need to import data into a blank database. The best way to do this is to use P2 Server Management to import a specially formatted Excel® spreadsheet. The spreadsheet has been formatted so that the Data Dictionary has the required information to accurately model your data for use in other applications such as P2 Explorer.
