Case Management Tour

This article applies to Case Management in versions 4.21 and later of IFS OI Explorer. For more, see Release History.

Case Management is all about activities and changing statuses surrounding events for cases that have been manually raised in Explorer or Shift Log, and those raised in source applications such as IFS OI Sentinel. 

Case Management Page

1. Case Management Header The Case Management header displays Case Management as the active workspace title. It includes the Hide Pages List Icon to show or hide the list of Case Management pages, and the Help Icon that opens the help page.
2. Pages List of Case Management pages. Pointer indicates the active page, which is highlighted in blue.
3. Functional Toolbar

The functional toolbar contains the functions available for the selected page.

The Overview page contains buttons to add a new case, refresh the table, perform bulk editing of cases, export data and Share a Link to the Case Management Page.

4. Filter Bar

The filter bar contains options for filtering the cases displayed in the Cases Table.

5. Cases Table

The Cases Table shows all the cases for the selected Case Management page.

Within the table you can sort, group, and filter the cases by the column data fields.

You can open an entry in three ways: Click the Details icon on the left, Click the ID number in the ID column, or double-click anywhere else on the row.
