This week sees the release of P2 Explorer 4.9 and P2 Shift Log 4.9.
Explorer Release 4.9 includes the following:
- Usability enhancements and technology upgrade in the trend
- A new ‘Stacked’ Y Axis mode allows you to have traces that are vertically separated along the y-axis
- Changing the trend timebase when a hairline is shown, will update the graph around the hairline
- A new Save Metadata button allows users with appropriate privileges to save Min, Max, Units, and Description.
- Cumulative 'Quick Functions' for Sample Interval, Hour, and Day
- Directly edit the name of a trace in the trace table, without having to first delete it
- After training a model analysis, various statistics are now available for assessment
- Improved performance in the Data Table to better handle large volumes of data
- Support for Microsoft Edge (Chromium)
Shift Log Release 4.9 includes the following:
- Ability to view entries from the current shift and from previous periods, in the same screen
- An option in Workbook Settings to warn users when a shift will change, within a specified time limit
- In Data Entry fields, the destination tag is now optional
- Fetch time has been removed in Calculation Fields
- An optional destination tag has been added to Calculation Fields
- Optional hard limits are now available in Calculation Fields, similar to those in Data Entry fields
