This week sees the release of P2 Explorer 4.9.6 and P2 Shift Log 4.9.6.
Explorer Release 4.9.6 includes the following:
- New Rules Engine allows Explorer administrators to configure automated actions on case, general, and log entries
- User profiles in P2 Server Management now have a field for an email address, used by the Rules Engine
- Metadata-driven menu system makes it easier for users to navigate to pages, trends, and workbooks
- New shortcut menu toolbar provides quick access to various functions without needing to go to the ribbon
- The trend hairline box now has a slight transparency, allowing traces behind the hairline box to be visible
- Components that support a Link Action (e.g. Hyperlink, Image) can now be configured to open a Workbook
- In the CatchLowConfidence() function, the replaced value will now use the confidence of the replacement value rather than the source value
Shift Log Release 4.9.6 includes the following:
- Workbooks are now able to be opened directly by using a URL, instead of relying on the workbooks list.
- In P2 Server Management, Fields now display the forms which they have been added to, and administrators can now remove the field from a single form, or from all forms
- Each shift can now be published independently of any other shift, and publishing the current shift will no longer automatically publish the previous shifts
